and your welcome :)

nice geo! i love geos. love your other fish too! you always have great fish :D
i have seen some geos of yours before, and you said they were geophagus surnamensis, but this geo looks more like a geophagus proximus. they look almost exactly the same and are commonly confused with eachother, but the proximus has the redish bars on their tails like the geo you have. i have researched the geophagus surnamensis species alot, after i got it when i was a noob. when i started taking good care of my fish, i decided to research him. i found out he was a true geophagus surnamensis, and that the geophagus proximus is oftenly confused with the surnamensis.
i just wanted to tell you this incase you didnt know, im not trying to sound like a moron or anything by trying to prove you wrong. i kinda like the bars on the geophagus proximus tails better too. i love geo's, they are a beautiful species of cichlids.

Thanks for your post :)

I'm certain of what they are because of who they came from.
They are just juvies atm, approx 2 inches, and I agree they are very easy to confuse at this size,so many look similar...
But no matter what they are...I love them :D

and you Lucky...need a smack..lol..no making me blush!
