Newest Fishies.

Because all of my rescues have found their forever homes for the past month now I've had no fish. Today I decided to take a look around and ended up with two new boys. I got Daniel Cook from my lfs, he was in a cup that I couldn't even see into, I wasn't sure what he even looked like until I got him home. Nanaimo came from a Walmart about an hour out of town, I literally had to get down on my knees on the floor and reach behind at least two dozen containers just to find his. Anyway here are some pics.

Here is Nanaimo.

He's a crowntail, his coloring is pale and darker lavander with pink throughout his fins.

Here is Daniel Cook.

He's mainly blue with lighter blue fins with red throughout them. He's a crowntail, veiltail mix I believe. His dorsal is missing because of some fin rot and is on meds for it right now.

Lovely! I really like the colors on the CT - interesting mix. Most of the CTs around here are yellow; I rarely see a purple/blue betta in general.

I have one - albiet a vicious tailbiter. We have a massive amount of yellow CTs, VTs, and on one occasion SDs at our local Petco. Here's my boy; its a dated pic though so he may still be a tad thin:

Aaaand my newest rescue who has a bit of fin rot going on. He jumped out of his bowl and into a killer gourami tank and got himself torn up.
