Hello, I am a newbie. Im from Lincoln in England. Iv been browsing on here for a while now to fnd out some information on my red crab. I have a 3ft tank with 2 pregnant guppies, 5 baby guppies about 5 weeks old, 1 pictus, a male fighter, another cat fish that we dont know the name of but its bloody nutts. and of course my red crab. I got some great answers about my crab, so thankyou. And i hope i will be able to answer some of your quieries too. hope to speak to some of you soon.

Just out of interest, the catfish you described as "nuts" and you dont know what it is.....what does it look like?

Cat fish are my favourite.

well, we think it is a cat fish. it sertanly looks like one. its about 2 and a half inches long. its colour is a bronzy, silvery colour, (very light). he is a sucker fish, with about 3 very short whiskers on each side of its mouth. very small eyes and very scatty. we got him from a local pet shop actually, who thought it was somthing we had never herd of and sold him to us for £1.60. if its not what the bloke said it was then itwould be nice to think we got a good bargain.
i hope you can tell what it is by my really bad description.
we also have a pictus. he is beutiful. i hope i have the name right.
