Hey everyone,

Just figured I'd drop in and say a quick hello. I'm currently in college and looking for a fish that is somewhat easy to handle. I never had a fish before but had a few reptiles and a dog. After a lot of research, it seems like a betta could be a good choice. Anybody have any other suggestions?

There are lots of fish that are relatively easy, so long as you have a big enough tank with a completely cycled filter, a good substrate, thermometer, heater and a liquid testing kit.
