Hi All, just wanted to introduce myself as I'm a newbie to the site. My name is John, I've been keeping fresh water tropicals for around 12 to 13 years now and am currently putting back together my 35gall.tank after destocking & emptying it to give it a make over. I live in N Wales near Pwllheli and don't really have any great fish shops near me, the closest good one is Greenmachine Aquatics in Wrexham apart from that there's a couple of local pet shops which stock some fish and a Pets @ Home in Bangor which isn't bad now.
I've kept the usual species, Tetra's of different kinds, Guppies,(which overran my tank hence the makeover),Corydoras, Loaches, Angels and one Silver Dollar which has now sadly died. My new set up is going to be different, I'm aquascaping it really well to provide a good habitat and I've picked up a good external filter this time so water quality shouldn't be a problem & I'm going to do a fish out cycle before stocking it with anything.
Well that's me, hope to talk to some of you on the forums soon.
