OK, you are basically fish-in cycling. That's quite typical of LFS advise

Have a read of [topic="224306"]this thread[/topic] for instructions on how to do a fish-in cycle. It will help you get to grips with what is going on and guide you through what to do now...

Untill you have liquid tests, I'd advise you to assume that ammonia and or nitrite are dangerously high and start to carry out 1-2 50% waterchanges daily, re-filling with dechlorinated tap water. There is a link the the thread I've linked to, to a pinned topic that lists mature media donors. Post in there, and some members will volenteer to help you out with media to get the cycle off to a good start :good:

Hi Rabbut
thanks for the advice i will endeavour to use, hopefully i will be able to save the remaining fish, just tested the water the ammonia is quite low but the nitrite lvl is around 0.8 so im using one of the products that encourages bacteria in the tank. :good:

I'd surgest you don't. Most don't work, and those that do require constant refrigeration  They won't do any harm, but those bottle contain dead bacteria, so won't help either, and considering their cost I wouldn't advise wasting any more money on them :good:

All the best

:hi: to the Forum zebbo!

It's great that you looked for answers instead of just assuming that fish dying in a tank is supossed to happen.
