Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. Was just looking for a good place to get advice and hear about experiences others have had. Found this forum and it looks nice. I am from the USA.
I have a 75 gallon freshwater tank for about 2 years now. Currently have 19 fish, most of which are small in size. My largest 2 are the common plecostomus, which are each over 12 inches long. Also have 4 blind cave fish, 2 black ruby barbs, 4 buenos aires tetra, 2 giant danios, 2 killifish (not sure which type, but they are bright yellow), and 3 black tetras. All seem to be peaceful with each other, other than the 2 plecos getting roudy with each other at feeding time, otherwise are buddies. The Giant Danios are very active fish, which bugs me, but the other fish seem to put up with them. Most of the fish are originals to the tank, so must be doing something right. My husband is very faithful about keeping the tank cleaned using the Python syphon. And I keep them fed and maintain the filters.
This is our first tank as adults. It was given to us, so probably would not have started out with such a large tank, but it is working out well. I now cannot imagine having anything smaller. We do not have multiple tank addiction, though ... one is enough!!
