Newbie To Saltwater

when starting up a saltwater aquarium can i cycle the same you would addiional fw aquariums?

meaning using media from a cycled tank?

and how do i go about doing this and a t what point ie after made salt water etc.

yes as long as the media/rock/sand is from another established SALT water tank

I would fill the tank about 3/4 of the way with SW, at the right temperature and specific gravity, then add the rock and NEW sand. I woudln't add sand from an existing tank, except for maybe like a cup. Also, make sure the rock stays wet while your moving it, and keep it out of water for the shortest time possible.
