Newbie To Real Aquatic Plants

ok I bought some aquatic plants for my new tank set up; at the minute they are just sitting in the tank. Basically my question is what do I do with the plants? Do I leave them in the little pots they came in or do I plant them in the gravel?

remove from the pots and plant in the gravel, yiu may get a few species in each pot, plant leaving 2-3cm with each plant.
