Newbie Question

brought some king british plant food, to stop my plants from going black or dying. does plant food actually work?; good of just a waste of time. i wanted to get one of theses nurifins but my dad said i won't need it (he thinks its a waste of money)

tanks a 15 gallon. i 6 plants sorry i don't know what type but i'll get a pic, lighting i'll check

not sure about the brand but it should be plant food designed for aquariums, unless you're sure of the exact contents.

generally ferts are only needed for tanks with an abundance of lighting, the plants will show you signs of nutrient deficiency eventually. also check if your fert has trace elements as well, again the plants will show you the signs if they run out of that too
