Hi All. Found this site after browsing for nanoreefs (looking but cant afford!). In my youth I had loads of fish, tropical, brackish, and marine tanks, although prob cant remember much! I bred my kribs in the past, and would really like to get some again.
Has anyone setup a krib tank in a aqua-cube / or similar?
The reason I'm looking at the cubes is compact size, and the fact the all the filteration system etc is hidden.
If not suitable for kribs, what about just neons and cory's?!

Thanks

Chris

Id say that 10gall minimum for a pair of Kribs. THis will give space to roam and setup spawning grounds yet leave space for any cleaners to get well out of the way when the Kribs spawn

a 20 gallon long is minimum recommended breeding tank for a pair of kribs. even then, they chase and nip at their tankmates. my female krib chased a female platy all over my 30" 20 gallon tank.

Ok, thanks guys. Maybe just go for neons etc and think about kribs when move house!!

Yes id agree with that if the tank had other inhabitants other than cleaners, but a tank with nothing but the Krib pair and a couple of cleaners then a 10G will do fine. Mine spawned in a 5Gall tank while i was moving the main tank....(they were in there 2 days!!!)
