Newbie Question

I was wondering if leaving the lights on 24/7 would make it grow faster then just leaving it on for 12 hours (in the guide). Its just a planted tank with no fish in them. Have fertilizer + DIY CO2 injecter. Was also wondering if it matters if I use those conditioners for the water if its only a planted tank.

It does not work that way, plants need to rest like we do, and depriving them of the lights out period would be bad for its health
