Newbie In Doncaster, Uk

Hello all,

I am new to tropical fishkeeping and am just wanting to introduce myself.

I am Paul and live in Doncaster, UK (as you probably already guessed!). Bought my brother in law a tank for christmas and have seen how nice his is and have wanted to get into fishkeeping for a while so that was the impetus I needed (apart from finding a full setup for a great price).

Just currently started my fishless cycle and am waiting for my ammonia levels to start dropping (currently 4.0ppm after 2.5 days after adding 4mls ammonia to my 98 litre tank) although I haven't tested my water yet today.

anyway I will get on and do that and hope to chat with you soon.

Lol mate. I have done some fishless cycle research but a lot of what I have learned has come from my brother in law (guppi), thanks mate. Will get you some more fish when you are 60!!

thanks for the responses and I'm glad to say that my ammonia level has dropped to 2.0ppm today. Will add some more when it reaches less than 1ppm if that is right??
