Newbie Here...my Name's Bean.

My name is Bean...I just joined a few minutes ago. =)

I just bought 2 Betta fish today, Shasa and Kaimana. =) They live in a double betta tank, there's a divider between them.

Hi Bean and welcome to the forum.

If you just set up the tanks, you will need to keep an eye on the ammonia and nitrite levels in the tanks. Ammonia comes from fish waste and is toxic to fish. Nitrite comes when ammonia is processed by bacteria and it too is toxic. If you don't have any test kits, I would suggest you get a liquid master kit that tests for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH. It is important that you keep them at safe levels for your fish. Good luck.
