Newbie Here, And Here Is My Tank

There is an african dwarf frog (which you have) and an african clawed frog, you had both of them morphed into one, I just thought it was funny :p

haha, It must have been the leaking nuclear reactor I placed in my tank!

if i get a frog which one should i get =)

sorry im so clumsy i forgot to comment on how nice ur tank is!!!!!!!

i wish i had a 125 gallon

well i wish i had room for it!!!!!!

i got a 29 gallon holla!!! and i broke the 1 inch rule as u can seeeee

MWQWAHAHAHAHHAHA

Get the dwarf, the other will get so large that it can eat any of the fish you have. Watch out for the dreaded 1 inch police, they'll get you if youre not careful!

u think the frog will get along with my stock?

Yeah, they are too small to do anything to any fish... They take 30 seconds just to eat a bloodworm. and they sit at the bottom and just come up for air, swimming around occasionally, so they fish dont even pay attention to them

very nice! :good:

I rarely like tanks with ornaments in, prefer the natural look, but once in a while one comes along that looks fab and blows me away.......... and yours just did that :D

and yeah parrots are ace aren't they!

That tank is absolutely nuts. The maddest looking one ive seen for a while. Not my cup of tea at all if im being honest but you obviously look after it well and have put loads of effort in. :fun:

Hi,

The tank looks good but is stocked with a lot of large growing aggressive fish. Personally i wouldn't risk my ADFrogs with even a tiger barb never mind cichlids as they would struggle to find food, i'm surprised the loaches haven't eaten their legs off by now, my loaches would scoff them straight away if i put my frogs in with them.

Emma -_-

Yeah, I know people classify some of them as aggressive, but so far, no one bothers anyone, and none even pay attention to the frogs. Maybe I have been lucky, maybe my fish are just extremely relaxed, but they dont hurt each other at all. Every once in a while the Angels will posture at each other, but thats it. And even if the Parrots wanted to hurt something, they couldnt. Their mouths dont close enough to nip and their teeth are worthless. The Silver Dollars dont bother anything, neither do they Rams. The loaches play with each other and dont take any notice of the frogs. Besides, they are all well fed, they get small portions of flake, freeze dried, frozen and live food many times a day, recreating their natural foraging tendencies.

You said most of your fish are nearly fully grown... ....not your irridescent sharks.... ...they get massive (i.e. up to 1 meter)!

Hope the other fish will be able to squeeze past!

Dont worry mate the fish ahve been in there years there is absolutely no problem there is loads of space for them its just very decieving with all those fish and ornaments. And remember they all grow very slowly he knows best.

haha, I know about them. I have had them nearly as long as the Parrots, (about 2.5 years) and they are only 4-5 inches. When they do get too big I will be giving them to a friend who has a 150 gallon tank with only a pacu and a pleco. But I do know they huge!
