Newbie Asking For Advice

Hi

I thought my 60L tank had cycled, and I went to the local pet store and purchased a couple of black mollys and two guppies.
After reading a bit it seems I was too quick to purchase the guppies, and sure enough one has died, I've managed to get a friend to look after the other guppy for a while for me.

The guy in the pet store told me I should do a water test and let them know the results, but after they recommended guppies I decided to come here instead.

My readings are:
Ammonia .25
Nitrite .25
Ph 7.6
Nitrate 5.0 (well actually it was inbetween 0 and 5.0)

Should I be doing a water change or getting something to add to the water?

The fish have only been in since Saturday evening.

50% and if there is still some ammonia or nitrite do another after an hour

Can you provide information about how long has the tank been up and running...and how did you cycle your tank?
