Hey maybe you can tell me what my catfish is, look in signature its on page 4, i was just told by the lfs thats it a pepermint catfish, but i cant remember buying it $40 like what they had it for sale for, it cost me $10.
Would you have a idea on it?

I am a catfish enthusiast...I don't actually know a lot about them yet. I am new to fish collecting, so I'm still learning. From my limited research, that fish appears to be a pleco of some sort. Definitely from the Loricariidae genus...maybe...maybe a vampire pleco?

I am an aspiring catfish expert, so when I become one, you will be the first person I contact.

As for your tank, I know that most catfish like lots of places to hide, and probably plenty of floor
