I bought Five guppys originally, with the intention of breeding them in my 96 ltr tank. A few months later I have Five guppys and about 20 fry, all of which will soon be ready to leave the tank.

My intention now, having successfully raised guppys and fry, will be to keep perhaps 2 males, and get rid of the rest. Leaving me with 2 guppy, 5 neon, 1 leopard frog plec and a 96ltr juwel tank... I'm looking for possible stocklists... ideas on what i can do to revamp my tank for the new year.

I've always liked the idea of having 2 german blue rams, and maybe a few cory. But i'm looking for something a bit different, unique looking.
I have a quite heavily planted tank, with various pieces of bogwood and i use sand as a substrate.

I'd appreciate any ideas or advice, I'm all out of ideas and loosing enthusiasm for the hobby. I need something to focus my attention whether that be new stock or new plants etc. Any advice would be good...

Try a challenge.... get some apistgramma hongsloi, or one of teh rarer apistos which are fussy breeders and give them a go.

cichlids always keep things interesting, and the apisots are small enough for your tank

Apistos are great! You can also try breeding Killifish. Killifish have the most amazing color. some species are easy to breed and will do well in the tank that you describe.

if its a challenge you want try breeding african dwarf frogs, raising the fry will be extremley difficult. it would be awesome though and there entertaining little critters.
