hey guys

would i be ok keeping some combinationm of new world chiclids in a 4' tank

i was thinking a couple of paris of rams a couple of trios of cocaktoos, and 3-4 angles

is this gonna cause me problems

for some bizzare reason the tank is 17" tall

Sounds like too many rams and cockatoos..... They're very territorial and take up pretty large territories.

4ft, but how many gallons is the tank?
 
I agree, i think the angels would work well but maybe 1 pair of rams and 1 pair of cockatoos would be better. You could also add some other compatible fish to fill it up a bit.
 
I agree but go ahead and get a 1:2 ratio of cockatoos if you are getting cockatoos that is, which in my opinion are more vibrant. Angels like a tall tank I think for a adult is it 18 inches? I think you can get away with a couple you are only an inch shy! I have had problems with groups of angels they always seem to fight and tear each other up that is why I have only been keeping one in a 55gal and he gets along great with all of my community fish. :thumbs:
