hello everyone! I'm new to the group but not to fish I've been breeding live birthers for ages. I started with guppies, and swords, and I had them for about 5 years, and now I've moved to mollies and swords and platies. i still have a small tank of guppies. but my big tank is used for my others. (60g)
now I do have a small concern about my babies right now, 2 of my male mollies seem to have a growth almost, where thier, bottom fin(the one they use to transfer the sperm) connects to their body, (now if I had my camara I'd show you what I mean) its a red bump. I work at a pet store and the fish 'expert' told me to up the amount of salt and to give them melafix(I think thats the name) for a week and it should clear it up... but its been well over a week and they still have the bumps! but its just 2 of them.
anyone got any ideas?
thanks for the help and this looks like a great list!

Is there a female in the tank with them, or many females. If so they could be over useing it. Some mollies try to breed like 70 times a day. I got one that is with the ladies he jumps from one to the next as fast as he can. So I can't keep him with them at all.

yep there are lots of female in there with them. but I dont see the one breeding, the other I could see that happening with:p but I'm really worried about my one b/c he's starting to do the body wag aswell.
who knows.... :/
