New Way To Plant Stem Plants.

ok so i have had problems in the past planting stem plants and them floating to the top of my tank! grr

anyway i bought 3 bunches of cabomba and 2 bunches of different cabomba today. pics of these tomorrow

my idea is to use a seeding tray, cut it in half length ways and cut the sides off so its not too deep.

red lines are cut lines, blue is discarded.

the plant stems are poked through the holes and then placed into the aquarium covered in gravel / sand etc.

quite simple.

I think its a good idea, but have you ever thought of using weights? i use them on my plants and they work perfect.
