Hi Angel and :hi: to the forum

Seeing as you're new to fish keeping, why don't you check out the beginner section - you're bound to find lots of helpful info there. We also have a livebearer section and seeing as you've ickle baby platies, you might want to have a look there too!
:D

BTW, if I'm not mistaken, clown loaches get fairly big and are likely to devour the remainder of their tank mates. You may want to investigate this further.

Good luck,
Ami

Neons are an angelfish natural prey in the wild, so yes they will eat them and anything else small enough to fit in their mouths I'm afriad! Although saying that, I've known people keep angels and neons together in a large tank with no probs.
:)

Hello and welcome to the forum. :hi:

The clown loach will get large but I don't think it will bother it's tankmates. They are usually very peaceful. Angels and neons don't generally mix but some people have had success if they grow up together. Still is a risk having them together. The neons could become expensive feeders.

Also, try not to use all caps. A lot of people see that as shouting.

Hi sorry about the caps new to all this ,ive been told clown like company so i could fit 3 more,im now not sure what to do ,my friend had neons with her angels i dont want mine to end up as food  .

Clown loaches do like to be in groups but your tank is small for them as they will grow to a foot long. How big is the angel fish? If it is small and about the same length as the neons it may be ok. Also, if there are lots of plants for the neons to hide in that will help. It's really hard to say with angels.

welcome to tff an hope you find everything you need answered here! :D

Welcome, from one newb to another. I second rdd1952's opinion. I used to have a loach tank so I would recommend either finding another home for the clown or getting 2-3 buddies for him and a bigger tank. They're pretty nice; I would have them with my community tank as well, but I have no room.

How are the gouramis getting along with the mollys and platys? Also, that's a sweet bird in your avatar. Yours?

I've never had clowns long; they were too sweet and got picked on by other fish. My biggest was 5". I have seen them at about 7 inches. My modestas ranged from 9-6 inches but I had them for 8 years.

Nice, spoiled parrot you have.
