Well you seem to have got the names right :) long fin serpae will have similar male/female charateristics as the regular serpae tetra.

I wouldnt worry too much about distinguishing between tetra sex's though, its very uncommon for them to breed in private aquaria, livebearers will have whats known as a gravid spot (black spot) when there carrying fry, they'll also get clearly very fat ;)

The 'mixed berry tetra' will infact be dyed fish, you wont find a whole lot on them because it depends on which species has been dyed. These forms of fish arnt promoted atall around here due to the inhumane way in which there formed.

Anymore questions?

Ok well as your new I appreciate theres alot to take in :) there seems to be 1/2 things that really stand out to me which I think you could benefit from.

1) All species of tetra need to be in groups of atleast 5-6 (that means 6 neons, 6 lemon etc).

2) Bala sharks can gete up to 16" long and need a tank of around 6ft :)

Theres a few other points but there some that just stick out to me at first.
