Hi stumbled across this site,the internet is a great thing lol,well got a juwel 180 running a tropical set up,had the tank running around 2 years now and just getting settled with fish and plants and the matinance,still have loads of questions though.
Gona try and get a bigger tank once ive moved house then maybe try my hand at a marine setup for the 180,well once ive read more on the up keep of a marine tank lol.
Will try and post some pictures in a few days once i sort my plants out again lol,well buy more as the silver dollers are having fun with them hehe.

Well thats my 180.
Been to my local shop the last week and tryed a beta (fighter) always wanted one,came home put bag in top of the tank and it flaired its face straight away..........trust me to get the stroppy one lmao,took it back and decided to get a small 20l tank,set that up and put my guppys and babys in there,looks great and running well.
Decided again today to have another go with a fighter,picked up a nice red one,smaller that the blue one before.
Got him in the smaller tank with the guppys and he seems great,no chip on the shoulder like the last one,flaired up alittle but nothing bad and seems to think one of the guppy girls is his mate lol.

Just goes to show it all depends on the fish and not the breed .

Welcome

I was smiling to myself when I saw the piccies. Bala Shark and Gourami. Same as me, but I'll be looking at getting a much larger tank in the near future, my Bala's (3) are getting bigger and it would break my heart to re-home them, have you the same idea.

Yes what with the clowns and sharks,gona be moving house in the next 2 months or so.
Once moved hopfuly gona be getting a bigger tank,wifes seen a 1500 litre or get one built,like you say wouldnt want to re home any of mine after haing them 6 months,also my kids would kill me lol.
