Hiya
Im Lily, have kept fish few a good few years. Know a little, wouldnt say im a pro of any shape! Had a cichlid tank before, got rid of it i was mad! (thought i didnt have enough space) Missed it so much bought a new one last year, have just kept a few fish in it over the year. Pleco, bristle nose, red tail, 2 cory's, a few other guppys and molly's. The tanks massive so its set the bio system up lovely, and now we've cleared the little fish out and have moved back to cichlids, the tank has has a good time to mature.
We went to the store this weekend and got our new fish. I have an oscar, he's only little but no-one bother's him. A jack Dempsy (also small for now), which the guy said would be fine alone but he's trying to stick with these 2 other cichlids we got which they arent too best pleased about. So i may get another for him.
I knew what all the fish were called when i left the shop, now i cant remember what a pair i bought are called. They are suppose to be tanganyikan cichlids, but you know what shops are like.
Was so tempted to get some more convicts! The females are so gorgeous, but they can be a little rough so i steered clear..... they had some though. Females too which are so lovely to look at. Some pearl convicts which i had never seen but still resisted.
Anyway i have added a pics plus some of these 2 veloceraptors lol, any ID would be so helpful (1st 2 pics and you can see one on the right of the clown loach in the last pic). Were very tempted to buy an even larger tank, so if these 2 are going to be mosters like oscar it may sway us even more.
Thanks for reading x
