New To The Forums

Hello Everyone.  I have two tanks, one for a beta and one for 4 platys.  We just set up the tank and brought the platys home two weeks ago.  I've had fish for most of my life, learned how to care for them from my father and great-grandmother.  I'm hoping that the platys will decide to breed.  Looking forward to learning more from all of you.

Thanks everyone.  lol on the platys

  I have two males and two females.  It's the first time we have platys, in the past we bred guppies and swords.
 
I don't know much about cycling, but am willing to give it a try in the future.  The methods I use have worked for generations, but cycling seems to be better.  The environments are good for the fish in both tanks at the moment, but when the time comes to consider a full water change I'll probably start cycling instead.
