Just wanted to post and tell everyone hello. I'm new to the forum, but not new to fishkeeping. I am currently a sufferer of MTS and have numerous tanks with numerous large SA cichlids (oscars, jd's, severums, convicts, and others..) I know these are probably the some of the most common, but boy do I like my big fish. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hi welcome to TFF :hi:
Your tanks sound cool.
I was a major sufferer of MTS but now it's only minor but you can never get rid of it. (we are talking of multiple tank syndrome right?)

Welcome to the forums! You'll be a great Addison as from your posts it sounds like you are very experienced. And I would like to see some pics of your setup, it sounds soo cool

I will have to post some. But unfortunately, I am one of the few people in this world that still operates with a camera that requires actualy film. Only recently did i retire my polaroid lol

Wait Malaysian Trumpet Snails or Mesial Temporal Syndrome? Hope you or your tank gets through whatever it is.

ROFL I was speaking of Multi-tank syndrome. I breed fish though. currently, i have a 125g tank with 2 oscars, a 75g tank with a breeding pair of green terrors, a 75g tank with a breeding pair of jack dempseys. I have a pair of severums that have yet to breed, also in a 75g tank of their own for now. I have a few convicts but they are not of age yet. They are about and inch long and in a 30g tank. There are six total, and when they pair, i will rehome all but the pair.

Ah, abbreviations get me again. I guess I'm a sufferer myself, but more of a hoarder (3/4 of my tanks are empty).

I do keep spares around as well. A healthy brood of green terrors will quickly over-run a 75g. I have smaller holding tanks until I sell them.
