New To The Forum

Hi, I have just registered on the forum and thought it would be nice to introduce myself and my fish. I have a Topaz Puffer named Puffy, a Lobster named Leonard, an Asian Sun Catfish named Sanjay, 3 Buenos Tetras named the Cookie Boys as they swim around the tank with the bottom feeder's wafers (I call them cookies) in their mouths looking like dogs with frizbees. I have a Royal Sturisima named Stick Thing, 2 Silver Sharks named Bert and Ernie, a Cory Sterbai named Mandarin, some Odessa Barbs referred to as the Sultan and his Harem, and some Silver Tipped Tetras named after The Seven Dwarfs. Yes I realise that I must have completely lost it! My partner is very embarrassed that I have named the fish and talk to them

I have 2 Sturisoma Festivum too. They're really cool eh?

That hasn't happened yet but I am sure that after a few glasses of wine it might be a possibility.

Tell us more about your set-up. What size tank? Any plants? etc.

I have 2 Sturisoma Festivum too. They're really cool eh?

No pics at the mo but will endeavour to send some when I have sussed the camera. Our tank is approximately 85 x 52 x 42cm. We have several plants, a large piece of bogwood, a 1/4 sand and 3/4 gravel. We did have loads of malaysian snails but I think Puffy ate them. Would not like to think how it will feel when he passes the shells. Might need to get the vaseline out for him. I forgot to say we also have a Synodontis called Sid, and an upside down catfish called Stupid. We have two filters for the tank but I couldn't tell you what they are but I know they are providing more than enough filtration. We have just added a co2 filter.

welcome to the forum, nothing wrong with name your fish, like its been said tho just be worried if they talk back
