hello all,

sorry if i am in the wrong place to post this, just new to the forum.

i have kio pound with shubunkins kois sturgeon and Common goldfish, i have owend them for around 4 years and still have them, iv got around 40 in total, then i thought i get a small 10 gallon tank in my room kept 4 small common goldfish in them, kept them for around 5 months and now i brought a 64Litre Fish tank complete with Filter Bubbles Lighting Heater (150watts) and loads of cool features in there....

i put my goldfish in the 64 liter thank but im going to put them in the pond and i want to have a nice tropical tank, first thing is what do i need to make sure my tropical tank is ready for the fish? and also what best suited for a 64 Litre (uk) tank and what will go well with each other?

im really intrested in getting Neon Tetras and Harlequin rasboras but if there anything else what goes well with Neon Tetras then let me know please

thanks all for the help and sorry for talking to much

Merry Christmas everyone

hi neons do better in groups of 6+ a max i would say of neons about 10-12 imo :) also live plants are far better for the fish and water

and as for the water imo i would say its ok so just fill it up thats all i did for my tanks :) and my fish are happy and healthy

oh and a themometer and i keep my temp up at 80'F for all my fish :)

A 64l or 15 gal tank is kind of a small tank. I would not put two schooling fish that use the same space in the tank. A nice group of 10 - 15 neons and maybe a school of corydoras that use the bottom of the tank would be beautiful.
I'll include a site here where you can look at the compatibility of fish. It helped me when I was planning my tanks:
