New To Forum And Saltwater Tank

Hi,  I just finished cycling a few weeks ago on a little 8g saltwater tank.   I am going to be adding a mantis shrimp once I get done with some traveling.   Anyone here with experience with mantis?

I hope I don't offend you with this question, but wouldn't a mantis shrimp be too large for this tank? Or am I thinking of a totally different shrimp? I don't really know anything about SW.

I thought the same thing initially but my lfs has one in the same size and it is doing fine.   When my manti starts to outgrow it, I will upgrade for sure.   There isn't going to be much else but some corals in the tank so hopefully it will be okay.  I am open to hear suggestions though if anyone has experience with these guys.
