I have had gold fish for the last 12 months but have recently bought a 4ft tank and am starting a tropical tank, i am going to need as much help as possible, so anything i get from other i will consider.
I would suggest reading the pinned topics at the top of each section. There is a lot of good info in them. Also, consider a fishless cycle (see link in my signature). It is much easier on you and will keep the fish from being harmed by ammonia and nitrite. And lastly, ask all the questions you want. There are a lot of very knowledgable people here and they are more than willing to help.
