Want to try out Eleocharis Parvula and see how i get on with it .So from what i've read & researched, this will stay at the same height after pruning, but will send out runners (hopefully) to produce new plants.correct?

However, the pots i've got have been grown emersed by the look of them, this growth will die back when submersed and new leaves will regrow.correct?

So the question is, how much should i trim back the current height, bearing in mind this will die back anyway to be followed by submersed growth.1" high or all the way down?

Then prune the new growth when it's reached the required height.

Thanks

im not sure if this is correct or not... but my dad said to me that grass's grow from the middle or something... so i wouldn't trim them all the way down. on mine i just take the very tips off...

you never know they might not melt?

I never had any melting issues with my parvula and ive purchased submersed and emersed. As mentioned above, trim no more than half the leaf. You definately notice a lot more outward growth when doing so.
