Hi i have a 12.5g tank(2ftx1ftx1ft) and i was wanting to basicaly everythign to get started. My main questions are:

1,how much salt(i have a graity meter thingy).i heard it was 1.003 but might be wrong
2,Would bubblebee gobies go with mollies
3,how many gobies i could get
4,what plants would go well in there.

Thanks to all.

Depends on the fish being kept. Bumblebees and mollies would be fine at SG 1.002-1.003, as would things like halfbeaks, glassfish, orange chromides, and Florida flagfish. Other fish will need more salt, e.g., monos and scats prefer SG 1.010 upwards.
2,Would bubblebee gobies go with mollies
Yes, that can work fine. But you do need to be able to feed the BBGs, which means making sure enough bloodworms get to the bottom without the mollies eating them all.
3,how many gobies i could get
Small gobies like BBGs need about 1 gallon / 4 litres per fish. A more practical limit is the number of shells and caves, as each fish will hold an area around their "nest" about 10 cm across.
4,what plants would go well in there.
There's a pinned topic on plants. Short answer is lots of plants, but often other factors, like lighting and substrate need to be good to compensate for the "stress" of the salty water. A lot of brackish water fishkeepers simply go with plastic plants because it's easier.

Cheers, Neale
