New To Betta's?

Ok would a male betta be ok in my 30gallon planted tank with
2 platy
1 molly
1 guppy
5 green neon tetra
2 ram cichlid

I think the rest are fine, but if your getting something like a crowntail or halfmoon.
I wouldn't risk it with fishes the same size as the betta and watch out for fin nippers!
I have a betta in a community tank. Stocklist are

8 harlequin rasbora
2 espei rasbora
1 discus (given by someone)
4 cardinal tetras
5 neon tetras
9 cories
