New To Betta'S

hi,
after 5 years of fish keeping im finaly getting my first betta

im puting him in a community tank (he is not shop bought and has lived with WCM's). If all goes wrong ill split the tank.
this is him:
(i havent got him yet and will 2day or tomorrow )

thinking about it in your 20g that i was helping you with if you do get rid of the barbs you could get 6 female bettas

firstly, im not getting him

secondly, i will get rid of the barbs as i dont want any more, im liking the betta idea may not tho

im considering buying a male, in the shop they are in community tanks already, do you think this would be safe?

it dependce on the male ive had some that lived with guppys and community fish fine but others what killed 2 fish in the first night. if you do try it just make sure you can take him back or have somewhere else to but him
