ok here's what i have in the tank, tank stats, etc

tank is 4'x1'x2' 60 gallon tank

tank mates are:

6 dwarf gourami's
1 rainbow shark
a pair of bolivian rams
a common pleco

tank is about a year old and has more than adequate filtration since i had it for cichlids before converting to community.

I am selling the pleco as its left over from when i had south american cichlids. The pleco is about 7" now and ate my rams' eggs!!!

I wanna get 4-6 cory cats, in place of the pleco. they should be fine right?

also i was wondering what mid swimming fish would be compatible with the fish i currently have? could i get 1 or 2 boesemani rainbows as centerpiece fish or will there be a problem? i have alot of separation from the rainbow shark and the gourami's. The rams have their own little corner and are very healthy.

any other suggestions would be great for mid swimming fish.

Hi jtnova13 :)

No, they probably wouldn't be. Corys should only be kept with totally peaceful tankmates. They would not be likely to thrive in a tank with fish such as cichlids or your rainbow shark, or any others that have aggressive tendencies.

oh... why cant my lfs have bn's :( well maybe i dont need an algae eater, i'd much rather have ram babies.

any suggestion on a mid swimming fish?
