NEW TANK!

Well, i went to a yard sale today after school and noticed they ahd some fish stuff. Well the dude sold me a 40 gallon tank w/ stand and hood. He also gave me a 2 ft light strip and a 4 ft one!!!! Largest one I've ever seen! he also gave me some aquarium sand and almost a full 5 gallon buck of gravel! He also gave me tons of plants and rocks and decorations. He also gave me 2 powerheads, heater, food, medicine, UG filter and other stuff. EVERYTHING FOR JUST $50!!! Man, that was a great deal!

Well, I'm not sure yet. Probably for right now(or when i set it up) it'll be a growout for my HRP(hondoran Red points) by the way, I live in AZ

Well, I have it all sorted out....I found a brand new python 25' hose. I also found some artifical plants and a real nice piece of bog wood. There were also some nice shells and rocks. I have it outside cleaned right now as I don't have anyroom in my house for it Parents wont let it in our living room or their room and my room is up to the max(7 tanks ) and my sister's room has a 30 GL livebearer growout tank/ I'll try to get some pics of it...

Well, I moved the 4 foot light to my 55. Oh my goodness, what bright lights I have It looks really awesome!

What are the dimensions of that? I bought a 30 gal and a 10 gal at a yard sale, both for 50 bucks. The 30 gal. came with everything even a new bio-wheel filter. The other one came with a filter but no light/hood. It was advertised as a 20 gal in the paper but when I saw it, it turned out it was actually only a 10 gal. She wouldn't sell them separately so what the hey? Another fish tank is always a plus to me. I am not sure if my 30 gal could actually maybe be a 40 gal? It is rather big/tall for some other 30 gals I have seen and it looks a lot like your picture of your 40 gal.
