New Tank?

I have a 45 gallon tank, heres whats in it...

Fish:
About a 12 inch pleco
2 cory cats
about a 9 inch cat, forget what kind
6 neon tetras
2 clown loaches
1 guarami (sp?)
3 chinese algae eaters

Plants:
2 very tall Amazon Swords
some java moss
1 java fern

Misc:
2 rocks
piece of wood.

I'm thinking you can always use a bigger tank but the question is do i need one? If I move up I was thinking a 100 gallon.

I bought 3 cory cats on friday and the Albino one died within an hour. But the other two are healthy and swim around. Did I do something wrong or did my LFS give me a bad Cory?

I'm pretty sure my Guarami has fin rot and he only gets up off the gravel to eat. It's sad because i have had him since we got the tank pretty much and hes been through thick and thin over the years along with my big cat and my pleco. What should I do? I have heard I should setup a nurse tank and put him in that. What would be a good setup for a nurse tank?

Also could I put Balla sharks in a 100 gallon? How many?

Woah!

You need to get the plec and the nine inch fish out of the tank!

You need a test kit. The nitrate (if not other nitrogenous) levesl are probably off the charts, hence the corydora's death.

Plecs get to over 15" and need special foods (you probably know that already). What cat is this? Please post a picture or give a description.

Gourami. And this guy is probably sick. What are the symptoms? Ragged fins, slow or fast breathing? Growths on body or fins? If possible, get a 10 gallon tank to quarantine and treat him if he has a disease.

Corydoras like being in groups of six or more, but you have to do stuff about the other fish (big ones)...

Those loaches get big too...

And you should try getting more plants. They make for good cover and make the tank look better (and you don't have to stuff the tank with fish then ).

and chinese algae eaters get pretty big too. and they get aggressive as they get older
