New Tank

Hey guys,

I am buying a 70g tank in a couple of weeks, after i have cycled the new tank how do i go about moving my fish? do i just move all of them in one go or just move a couple at a time? i dont want to stress out my fish. also as i am getting a bigger tank i want to get some new fish, how soon can i introduce the new fish? should i give my other fish time to settle in to there new home before i give them new friends?

Any advice would be great.

yes, you should do it gradually, lest (God forbid) anything go wrong and your fish die. then you'll have saved some at least. You can introduce new fish later after your current ones have acclimated.

Who do i move first? my plec or my little fish?

If i move my plec it may stress out my other fish as i chase him round the tank with the net (he's very fast for a big fish) and i dont think i could cope losing him if anything went worng, he's my fave fishie

Although i do beleive that plecs are quite hardy fish and can cope with a lot.
