Hi Guys,

I currently have a 90 Lire tank, I am looking at purchasing a 160 - 200 Litre tank.

I am just looking for any advice you guys could offer (Where to go to purchase, price I should look to pay, what size you recommend, what size fish you can keep).

Thanks for any help.

ebay, 200 litre maybe abround £100 second hand, possibly with stand. The Roma tanks are nice at that size.

Stocking wise, tough really, you need to research the fish YOU like the look of then post back here asking about compatibility and stocking (how many). Dont go by the local fish shop advice, the views and opinions of people here will see you straight.

Thanks for the advice. Will a 200 litre tank be suitable for a single Red tail Shark?

Should be okay. But only one. Resist the temptation to get more than one.

Yeah you can have plenty of other fish with a red tailed shark. they tend to stay near the bottom, I've got corys and even they get on together. Just get some mid and top dwellers then.

I was thinking about some of those myself. Anyone have experience with them?
