Hello

I have had my tank up and running for around a week, nitrate 5, nitrite 0, ammonia 0. I am chucking in food as I don't really want to use ammonia in case I spill it (I am kind of a clutz!). When can I add fish?

Once the cycle is complete you can add fish. you will get an Ammonia spike, Nitrite Spike then a Nitrate Spike. once that happens and you raise the Ammonia again it should all be gone in a day, once that happens its cycled.
