New Tank

I am getting a new tank this weekend and when its ready i would like to move my fish onto it but am worried as my old tank has snails and i dont want them in my new tank. Do fish carry snail spores?

Not that I'm aware of, however if you are moving any decor or the filter over, you'll want to check them over carefully. Snails are especially sneaky about hiding in filters.

No thats ok. Im starting from scratch, all new decor and everything. Just dont want the same problem in my new tank. Any more advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
