New Tank

hello, i recently set a new tank up, i have a plant in it and a stone as yet, but the stone has got a rusty covering and the sides of the tank are getting patches of this rusty looking stuff, help.
what is it and what do i need to do

brown algae its normally occurs because there is a lack of light i would reccomend getting a bn plec if your tank is big enough. to keep it under controll otherwise u can just clean it of with an algae scraper on the glass and a wet cloth for the stones i have the same problem with 1 of my tanks atm due to the light not working lol
