i currently have a 60ltr tank and have decided it is not a good size for any sort of fish or to fully appriciate the fish themselves, so i am going to buy a 180ltr tank soon.
any advice on setting up such a big tank ie. gravel or sand what sort of plants, ornements etc etc

many thanks

Starting out with a new tank gives you thousands of directions to head in decorating/stocking your tank. Do you have any ideas on what you would like to have in it...? then maybe it would be easier to suggest some ideas. Obviously a cichlid tank will be quite different from a community tank, or you could try to create a certain environment by keeping plants, fish, and water quality specific to that area, ie (Amazon, Rift valley, etc). My favorites are Rift valley cichlid tanks, amazon community tanks, and south american cichlid tanks, once you get an idea for what you want to do, it will be a lot easier to decide on specific substrate, decorations, etc.
