Hey

Havn't been on here sinse last August suposebly...

Just got myself a 175L tank as an upgrade from my 20 gallon... Also just got a fluval 305 external filter, which should filter the tank with ease YAY. Got it all setup earlier, all i need to do really is add the gravel, water and fishies from my 20 gal...

Wondered how long you would leave the new tank to settle... Personally i was going to get it all looking good tomorrow (sunday) and leave it for a couple more days, then add couple of gallons from my old tank, and possibly a couple of tetras and my cherry barbs, just to see how they get on and take it from there... What do you recommend?

Not sure if my sig still works so i will write whats in the 20 gallon (yes its probably overstocked)
2 bristlenoses
1 pekoltia (sp)
couple of neons
few cardinials
3 cherry barbs
2 other barbs
1 cory :( my others died in our recent heatwave.

I cant wait to get these fish into the new tank, theyre going to love the SPACE :D especially my plecs.

Just took half the filter media from my 20 gallon (as it needs replacing) so i put some fluval 4 series internal filter media in my fluval 2plus and the media i took out i have placed into my fluval 4 internal along with some new media and its running in my 175L now. Hopefully this should help it cycle. (its probably ammonia spiking right now).
