hi getting a secondhand jewel rio 125 tank in next few days full set up including some tetras what the best way to transport fish ? have about 1 hour driving time from picking up tank & fish the tank comes with internal filter what is the best way of keeping bacteria alive so i can set new tank up in my house ? thanks for any replies

the best way to keep the bacteria alive whilst traveling is to keep all the filter media in a bucket or tub full of tank water....

Same with the fish... just remember the longer your traveling the more watter your fish will need...

Are those readings from the old large tank or the small one?

from the old large one juwel 125

The nitrites are a sign the tank is cycling, do you have any test results for ammonia? I would do a 30% water change with dechlorinator to try and lower the nitrites as they are harmful to fish.
