Well, I'm back w/some more questions. :D After the great suggestions I got here, a little more research, and a look at my budget :p , I've decided to upgrade to a 75 gallon tank. I'm still going to go w/the Fluval 404, 350gph (do you think that is enough filtration?). I've also finally decided on the types of cichlids. I'm going to move my yellow labs over (1 male, 2 females, 3 unidentified juvies), and I've decided on Metriaclima Greshaki (positively identified) , and Pseudotropheus Crabro, I'm just not sure on the numbers now that I'm changing tank size, other than 1 male to several females. I'd also like to bump up to 5 pim pictus rather than 3 if that's not overcrowding them. I'm also open to suggestions on a pleco, I've decided to leave the one in the 29gal. Is a 75 gal ok for a common or a sailfin, and do they continue eating algae into adulthood? One more question, what order would you suggest I introduce the new fish in. (I'll be waiting a couple of months on the pleco and pictus). Again, thank you everyone for your help, it is very much appreciated.

the pims are a fantastic addition to the tank.they keep the bottom spotless.i'd put bristle nose in for the algae cleaning(only my opinion lol) and not a common plec.

bump bump, anyone else have any suggestions? :(

I agree with rixy, bristlenose for algae eating and the greshkai are super looking fish as you can see by my avatar(my male), you shouldnt have any problems in what order you introduce the fish, i actually got some crabro today and they are a stunning fish when older and coloured up.

cheers stewy

A Common Pleco would be OK in a 75 gal but a sailfin would be pushing it a bit. Both species continue eating algae throughout their lives but do tend to get lazier as they grow.
