New tank suggestions

Hi i have a 25gal tank and wanted to have a cichlid tank, i have puffers and community and have bred livebearers so i am hoping i have the experience now !
the tank is empty and i am about to go onto goole and do some research but wondered if anyone had any advice !
any suggestions ??
