New Tank Problems

Hello to one and all...

this is all new to me, and would like advice on how to get my ammonia and nitrite levels down,

i have 2 tanks, a 90 litre one (the levels are spot on) but as the fish are growing i felt the need to upgrade, i also own a 180 litre tank and for 3 weeks the levels are not quite right to transfer any of the fish (ammonia is 1, nitrite is also 1) i am doing daily water changes of up to 30 litres but the levels seem to be rising, not falling...can any one help....please

If the bigger tank has been set up a while I would move the fish over to that tank.
Put the old filter in the new tank aswell.
match ph and temp.
Water changes and increase aeration in the tank with bad water quality.
