Hi ive just brought a Orca TL450 all in one tank, originally i was considering a nanoreef but its just too expensive at the moment in terms of setup costs. So ive decided to go for a tropical tank with (possibly a shoal of small tetras and a pair of dwarf cichlids).
The tank has four compartments at the back as its an all in one with the filtration system at the back behind a screen, the first has a pump and uv steraliser and the mechanical foam, the second a skimmer, third has the heater and 4 bio balls and the fourth has biological filtration with ceramic media. I like the way the tank looks and i like the all in one idea, but i need to add a powerhead to for circulation as the pump really does not seem to be that great and there is nothing powering the spraybar.
I am planning to add some bogwood and have plants and a sand substrate to the tank and i would appricate any advice as to what i could stock in the tank.
Cheers!
